Queer Stories of Belonging: Visual Art, Songs and Medi

This event will consist of an artist panel talk involving the display and discussion of digital artwork interspersed and framed by dance and music performances, exploring queer diasporic experiences.
The event will feature Tahini Molasses from the Turkish and Middle Eastern drag collective Harem of No One, and Natis, a queer migrant painter based in Berlin, and Dr Yener Bayramoğlu, who conducted fieldwork for the project MEQDI (Media Practices of Belonging within Turkey’s Queer Diaspora in Europe) in Berlin and London.
This event marks the formal Closing of the MIGS One-Day Event ‘Moving Images: Audiovisual Representations of Migration and Migrants’.
